The Roaring 20’s has been a firm favourite for events for many years. The glitz, glamour and sense of underground fun is always a firm favourite with party goers and we love it too. This theme has huge possibilities for entertainment and we have never failed to spin it on its head a little and create something original for our clients.
We love to play on the romantic storylines of Bonnie and Clyde or The Great Gatsby, using jaw dropping duo specialist skills that show tumultuous love stories and gravity defying circus skills. Alongside a team of dancers and other circus specialisms we like to deliver the light and shade of this iconic era known for speakeasies, prohibition and secret parties.
1920’s themed events don’t have to follow the same format – we have many original elements on offer that you will find nowhere else. Examples of these include our vintage telephone adorned hostesses who pop up for speakeasy-themed flash mobs around the event. Interaction with guests and providing a super fun element to the event can be found via our Funhead range.
We also like to bring our actors in to set the atmosphere in the drinks reception. They can be vintage press, part of the love story or pop up performers that surprise party goers with contact juggling, a song or a contortion act.
With our multi-skilled performers you can really get a wide range of skills from a relatively small cast. Costume changes and bringing out a wide range of skills really does mirror the way these shows are performed in a big top or theatre, 1920’s themed events really can bring out the theatrical big guns.
The show can include Charleston dancers, a full out Lindy Hop, a contemporary ballet duet, aerialists on chains, silks and hoops all served up between courses. We can bring together an evening of vintage entertainment that seamlessly moulds itself into your event, or you can pick and mix what works for you….each event is different, so why can’t your entertainment be?
Beyond Repair were an absolute delight to work with, the team always had a smile on their face and it was great to work with them all! They certainly made running Christmas parties more enjoyable and fun for me without adding extra stress to my day as they were always on the ball and would listen to my cues for “entertainment”. They were all great performers and the audience loved the routines and different acts they had put together.Charlotte Martin - Best Parties Ever
